Grace, Milly, Lucy...Child Soldiers
War Child is proud to be co-presenting 'Grace, Milly, Lucy...Child Soldiers' at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in Toronto on Wednesday evening (May 5th). This is the first film War Child has co-presented and we are lucky to be a part of the Hot Docs festival. the Hot Docs is North America's largest documentary festival. It 's on now until May 9 and presents over 170 films from more than 40 countries. The festival will be welcoming hundreds of international filmmakers and industry delegates to Toronto.
Grace, Milly, Lucy…Child Soldiers, directed by Raymonde Provencher is a film that follows the story of three girls who were abducted and forced into battle for the Lord’s Resistance Army. The girls now fight for peace and to save other girls from the same fate. The film is a powerful call for justice and peace as the girl soldiers become activists who raise their voices and organize to prevent other children from experiencing the horrors of war.
Grace, Milly, Lucy…Child Soldiers is being shown on Wednesday May 5 7:30pm and Saturday May 8, at 4:00pm at The Royal, 608 College Street in Toronto.
