Dr. Samantha Nutt, Founder and Executive Director of War Child Canada, recently wrote a feature article for the Ontario Secondary Schools Teacher Federation publication Education Forum, highlighting how education plays a key and critical part in developing global thinkers.
Supporting education is paramount in reducing poverty and rebuilding the lives of children affected by war. It is as important to inject education and advocacy in communities ravaged by war as it is to focus on global citizenship and involvement locally here in Canada.
