Participants were situated in a number of US cities such as Tucson AZ, New York NY, Buffalo NY, and Little Rock AK, as well as Munich in Germany.
The Event was a great success raising $5,000 for War Child Canada! We want to thank all of those who gave their time and effort to coordinate and take part in this great event. See below for pictures from the events.
All the funds raised for the event were donated in the memory of Capt. Dennis Pintor, father of 6 year old Rhea Pintor.
Capt. Dennis Pintor died on October 4, 2004 in Iraq when an IED (Improvised Explosive Devise) struck his humvee, killing the driver, gunner and himself. Dennis was an Army Engineer Officer, serving with the 1st Cavalry Division as a Company Commander. Capt. Pintor’s wife has asked that all proceeds from the event be donated to War Child Canada.
