We know that hope and opportunity changes communities devastated by conflict. We know that even in the most complex, unstable humanitarian environments, there is never a failure of opportunity to bring about change. And we know that we cannot do it alone.
War Child can deliver programming and create tools that allow children born into the devastation caused by war to become their country’s next teachers, doctors and leaders when people like you support our mission.
On November 22nd, War Child had the opportunity to recognize a few key supporters who have tirelessly donated time, funds and their talents to help us achieve our mandate for the better part of a decade.
We recognized a special corporate partner, volunteer, fundraiser and individuals who have all made a significant impact on War Child.
The award recipients were:
Corporate Partner of the Year: john st.
Fundraisers of the Year: Christy Wagner and Jonathan Kerr
Volunteer of the Year: Michelle MacInnes-Rae
Philanthropists of the Year: Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk
A special thank you to our award recipients and our generous event sponsors for the evening which included: O’Born Contemporary, Aeroplan Canada, Jackson Triggs Winery, Steamwhistle Brewery, Tawse Winery and Malen Framing.
